Dance has been a huge part of Courtney’s life for as long as she can remember. She trained in BAL Tap, NZAMD and BAL Jazz and has completed her NZAMD Jazz Major Solo and BAL Tap Major Solo. Courtney performed for many years with the Senior Performance Group at Drury Lane Dance & Performance which included performances at Disneyland Los Angeles, All Blacks games, Magic netball games and Balloons over Waikato. She was also a dancer in four of Waikato Performance Trusts Impact cabaret’s and looks forward to a fifth in December 2025. Courtney also enjoyed being a part of the London Cheerleaders while living in London in 2013 and 2014.

Outside of dance, Courtney holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences and spent over 12 years working in Human Resources and Organisational Development. She is passionate about workplace culture, diversity and inclusion, and creating a place where everyone feels they belong both in the workplace and in her community.

Now a proud mum of two little ones, Courtney has been inspired by her children’s love to dance and the joy it brings them; as well as the amazing benefits it has on their growth and development. That’s why she is now the proud owner of the babyballet® franchise now taught at Drury Lane Dance & Performance. She’s excited to bring together her dance background and HR experience to create a space where young children can grow, have fun, and feel truly welcome as they begin their dance journey.
